Washington, Apr 24 (PTI) Over 1,500 members of the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangha in the US are carrying out one of the largest ever relief operations in the country and raising funds for those badly hit by the raging coronavirus pandemic.
WASHINGTON: A group of Hindu organisations in the US has launched an exclusive helpline to address the issues faced by thousands of Indian students amidst the unprecedented coronavirus crisis that has left a large number of them stranded and without accommodation.
The 'COVID-19 Student Support Network' helpline, 802-750-YUVA (9882), is a collective initiative of Hindu Yuva, Bharatiya, Vivekananda House and Sewa International.

The Hindu Culture and Dharmic Tradition from India exhibition was displayed over a period of five days at THE ST. PETERSBURG INTERNATIONAL FOLK FAIR (SPIFFS). The event was sponsored by the city of St. Petersburg and was held at the VINOY PARK in downtown St Petersburg from Wednesday March 14th through Sunday March 18th. A total of 32 countries participated, each displaying their unique traditions, art, culture, folklore, foods etc. in their respective village.
