More than 2400 children in grades K-8 enthusiastically participated in the Level 1 exam at local test centers for the Dharma Bee national competition. This exam was conducted in 37 states and 629 cities, at 156 test centers across the United States. Built upon the  past success of the national competition “Kaun Banega Ramayan Expert,” or KBRE as it was popularly known, HSS has developed the  Dharma Bee to provide a fun avenue for  children to learn about Hindu culture and heritage.

Dharma Bee competition - Level 2 round concluded successfully in the last week of April, in 35 places across the United States.  Total 1108 students between grades K-8 participated in this round.  3,308 kids spread across 37 states are taking part in this unique competition organized by the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA (HSS) as a part of the yearlong celebrations of the 150th birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, a 19th century Hindu monk who brought the concepts of Dharma and Yoga to the West.

Birchwood Manor, Whippany, NJ - On Sunday, Sept 29th, 2013 New Jersey a glorious moment in the annals of Hindu events history when nearly 2000 people representing over 30 organizations joined hands in celebrating “Dharma and Yoga Fest”, a unique “once in a lifetime” event spreading the message of “Universal Peace Through Dharma and Yoga”.
