HSS participated in a sewa project called "Honoring Moms In Need". HSS - Contra costa Vibhag cosponsored an ICARE program* to honor and help moms in need and their babies through the Monument Crisis Center Walnut Creek
The Vibhag (San Ramon, Dublin , Pleasenton, Livermore and Concord) partnered with Peace Lutheran Church and Jewish community Temple Isaiah to provide essential hygiene kits for at-risk women and their families.
Honorable Governor of Georgia, Mr. Brian Kemp met with Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) volunteers along with leaders of few more Indian American organizations. HSS volunteers updated Gov. Kemp about their relief work during COVID-19 pandemic and also HSS' ongoing work supporting various vaccination drives in several states.
ROCKAWAY, N.J., June 3, 2021 - Volunteers of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA (HSS), a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, during the peak of the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020, worked in their communities and offered help to families, first responders, and healthcare professionals in 27 states and 198 urban centers nationwide.
