Sangh updates and knowledge to share


Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh has been celebrating 'Ganesh Pooja for Children' for more than 7 years now across the country. This year, between Sep 11th and Sep 19th, it was conducted in more than 44 places including many locations where it was done for the first time. Totally, more than 1500 children performed pooja and along with their families, there were more than 4000 participants.

DC Metro area chapter of SEWA international along with HSS Balgokulams(www.hssus.org) in DC metro area conducted its first annual food drive on the auspicious occasion of Diwali to serve the needy. DC Central Kitchen which serves 4500 meals everyday and located at the heart of Washington DC was identified as an ideal location for the cause.

MARCH 14, 2016 — The fifth biennial youth camp of Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS), held in Austin, TX from March 12 to March 14, brought together 110 university students and young professionals from across the country. HSS organized this camp to provide a forum for young leaders to share their experiences, exchange ideas, and gain a deeper understanding of Hindu culture, while addressing societal problems faced around the world.

The arrival of spring in California not only brought us pleasant weather, and the bloom of tree,  it also brought Shanta Akka from our Bharata Desh.    Invitations to Vichar Manthan with Vandaniya Shanta Kumari Ji on "Role of Women in Resurgence of Hindu Dharma" went to all denominations of Indian diaspora, with the day and time of the event was on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 6 to 8pm.
