3 temples in the Oklahoma City area (Hindu Temple of Oklahoma, Swaminarayan Mandir, and Shirdi Sai Temple) celebrated the occasion with special poojas and bhajans. Around 220 Hindus of all ages – from children to seniors – participated in all these programs, which were filled with devotion, education on lessons from Shri Ram’s life, and inspiration from the Ayodhya Ram Temple. Children from Balvikas made and offered a garland of postcards with “Shri Ram” written on them in Devanagari script.
