Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh USA (HSS) condemns the series of gruesome terrorist acts in India at Srinagar and Mumbai. Our hearts and prayers are with the victims and their families at this moment of tragedy.

The systematic covert attacks repeatedly on the lives of innocent people display the hatred and religious fanaticism.  Such attacks must now end from the region for ever. The terrorist and fanatic activities in New York, Madrid, London, and now once again in Mumbai in the name of religion are detrimental to the peaceful human coexistence. It is a well known fact that the people who masterminded the airplane hijacking in India belonged to the same league who funded the use of airplanes as the weapons of mass destruction on the American soil.  It is, therefore, very important that the concerned governments, the people, the intellectuals, the academicians and the media come to grips with the reality of the situation and protest it in unequivocal terms.  It is about time that they work together to bring about a change in the mind set of people who harbor such evil tendencies directly or support them tacitly.

Finally, we urge the Government and the law enforcement officials to act quickly and firmly to bring the culprits to justice, and in doing so, send a clear message to the evil mongers that such acts will not be tolerated.
